Today on 17 March , 2023 Army Goodwill school High ground Anantnag conducted Plantation Drive in collaboration with Forest Department Anantnag. Around 15 officials from Forest department and 25 Students along with OIC school participated in the said event. on this occasion Students planted many trees in the campus and were taught the important of plantation for Human beings. The main importance of the event was to create awareness among the students regarding Tree Plantation which helps us to drive and combat many environmental issues like deforestation, erosion of soil, desertification in semi-arid areas, global warming and hence enhancing the beauty and balance of the environment. Trees absorb harmful gases and emit oxygen resulting in an increase in oxygen supply.
